Hand-Knotted Tibetan Khaden Rug | Pomegranate Vine Medallions

A fabulous drawing of a traditional design with elaborately articulated leaves, complete with veins and irregular yet well-defined and realistic edges. This drawing is directly inspired by the Yuan period textiles, and it is likely the weavers had access to those old weavings.

The varied palette with a wealth of color and the delicate drawing of the tendrils, leaves and flowers make this a very special type.
