Hand-Knotted Tibetan Khaden Rug | Three Crane Medallion Cloud Border

An interesting and decorative composition, with three crane medallions dominating the field, surrounded by a classic cloud and mountain border — all derived from a later Chinese textile prototype.

Cranes are auspicious symbols of longevity and are a recurring motif in the Tibetan rug design repertoire.
